Bates Motel Season 1 Comes to DVD, Blu-ray This September Jun 27th 2013, 19:05 The first season of A&E's hit series, Bates Motel, is coming to DVD and Blu-ray September 17th from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.  Bonus features are revealed after the jump. The Blu-ray and DVD will include a set of collector cards featuring artwork from the show ("Jiao's Sketchbook") for a limited time only. The series, in case you haven't checked it out, stars Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore as Norma and Norman Bates, respectively, and is a contemporary take on Norman's early days.
